The Business Manager, President, Recording Secretary, Executive Board members, Vice President, and Treasurer are elected by the members of Local 31. The Assistant Business Manager is appointed by the Business Manager.
Every three years our members are afforded the most fundamental of democratic rights, the right to vote for representatives of their choice. This freedom to vote for the candidate of their choice is a continuation of the principles of the IBEW, guaranteed by our Constitution and bylaws. Nominations for the officers is held in the month of May of the election year. Our next election year is 2013.
